SKAPS TRANSNET (TN) HDPE Geonet/Geotextile Composite |
SKAPS Transnet geocomposites typically consist of SKAPS GeoNet with
nonwoven polyproplyne geotextile fabric heat-bonded to one or both sides. The
geotextile serves as a filter to prevent the geonet from clogging while the
geonet provides a path for fluids (liquids and gases). Geocomposites may also be
used as a cushion to protect a geomembrane from unduly rough substrates. SKAPS
TransNet is designed specifically for use in situations where high normal loads
are expected, such as in landfill cell design. |

| 1.
These values represent minimum acceptable test values for an individual roll as
tested according to SKAPS Manufacturing Quality Control Manual. Individual test
specimen may vary.
2. Geonet properties are tested prior
to the lamination process. They cannot be tested on the final
product.
3. Transmissivity measured using
water at 20°C at a gradient of 0.1, under confining pressure of 10,000 psf,
between stainless steel plates. Values may vary between individual laboratories.
